Mooters Day 2024, Attracting Young Jurists to Moot Court

[Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Sunday (04/02/2024) Mooters Day #1 2024 was held in the Hall of FH UNUD Denpasar Campus. This activity is a forum for FH UNU students held under the auspices of the Udayana Moot Court Community (UMCC). Mooters Day #1 2024 carries the theme "One Step Closer With Moot Court Life" which means one step closer to moot court life. With this theme, it is hoped that Mooters Day activities can become a forum for all Faculty of Law students to prepare for the upcoming moot court competition.
This activity received extraordinary attention not only from new 2023 students, but also attended by 2022 and 2021 students. Mooters Day #1 2024 was also attended by all UMCC Trustees, UMCC Honorary Board, UMCC General Chairperson, invitees, speakers, UMCC functionaries, organizers, and all participants who have registered.
"Omnium Rerum Principa Parva Sunt, everything starts with small things", said the UMCC coach, A.A Ngurah Oka Yudistira Darmadi, SH., MH, in his speech which also officially opened the Mooters Day #1 2024 event, on Sunday (04/02/2024).
This activity was packaged with a theatrical presentation of a mock trial, which was displayed directly by the ranks of UMCC functionaries for the 2024 period. In addition, on this occasion, the UMCC work program and management were also introduced, an introduction to the Moot Court Training Series (RPPS), Constitutional Moot Court Training (CMCT), Arbitration Day, and the Tjokorda Raka Dherana National Moot Court Competition. Then there was also a Sharing Session guided by a moderator with two speakers, who provided valuable experiences about the intricacies of moot court life.
