Team MBKM Bina Desa Batuan Socializes Anti Bullying and Sexual Harassment in Elementary School

Gianyar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Successfully conducting socialization at SD Negeri 2 Batuan some time ago, the MBKM Team of Bina Desa Batuan again socialized Anti Bullying and Sexual Harassment to students of SDN 3 Batuan on Tuesday (10/06/2025), SDN 1 Batuan on Friday (13/06/2025) and SDN 4 Batuan on Saturday (14/06/2025).

The socialization with the theme “My Good Friend Does Not Hurt” was well received by all Principals and Teachers in their respective schools. This activity was attended by students ranging from grades 3 - 5 with a total of 178 students involving 16 teachers and principals from the three schools. This socialization was carried out by carrying out the concept of material presentation with a question and answer session system and ice breaking as a form of interlude for each meter to maintain the focus of all students.

The rise of bullying and sexual harassment involving early childhood, both as perpetrators and victims, is the background for the implementation of this socialization. With the socialization to children from an early age, it is hoped that they will have an understanding of the limits of behavior for those around them and provide an understanding of how to protect themselves and others around them, both as a preventive measure and a step in handling acts of bullying and / or sexual harassment. Through this socialization, the delivery of punishment for the perpetrators is also conveyed in order to create a sense of reluctance for early childhood to commit acts of bullying and / or sexual harassment.
