Tabanan, FLUNUD.ac.id – The ALSA Local Chapter at Udayana University successfully held the ALSA Turun Desa 2026 event in Tajen Village, Penebel Subdistrict, Tabanan Regency, on October 3–4, 2026. This event was a form of community service focused on education, health, the economy, and advocacy, while also supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and tourism in Tajen Village. During the event, ALSA Turun Desa 2026 distributed 30 stationery kits to students at Tajen State Elementary School No. 2, as well as 250 food packages to the local community. In addition, the event resulted in several community support programs, including the creation of 10 Indonesian Standard Quick Response Codes (QRIS) for MSMEs, the registration of Traditional Knowledge as Communal Intellectual Property (KIK PT) for Tajen Village’s signature dish—Rempeyek Loteng—and the handover of a Village Tourism Network (JADESTA) account to Tajen Village. The series of activities for the ALSA Turun Desa 2026 initiative included volunteer English lessons for elementary school children, a seminar on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and health screenings conducted in collaboration with the Tabanan Regency Health Office. Through MSME mentoring, the creation of QRIS codes is expected to help business owners provide digital payment methods. Meanwhile, the establishment of a Limited Liability Company (PT) for Rempeyek Loteng is an effort to support the protection and promotion of traditional knowledge.
