Gianyar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Wednesday (05/06/2024) Commemorating World Environment Day, Bina Desa Bona answers the challenges of the instant era. Approach to SD Negri 3 Bona students through fun games about the importance of caring for and protecting the environment is the main tendency in this activity, regeneration through providing understanding is instilled early on about awareness of protecting the environment. The doctrine starts from the smallest environment, namely the family, parents become the main role so that it will remain a habit that will be brought to the environment outside the home such as schools and the surrounding community.
The Bina Desa Bona MBKM team packaged the #bonatanpaplastik campaign activities, and supported through the real action of the Tumblerization Movement by distributing tumblers to all SD Negri 3 Bona students including teachers, this is a reminder to always supervise so that the school environment can be free from plastic and become a daily lifestyle. One of the other benefits of the tumblerization movement is the durable characteristics of the tumbler so that it can be used forever and can replace disposable mineral water packaging.
The principal of SD Negri 3 Bona Ni Luh Putu Niawati, S.Pd fully supports and welcomes this activity "socialization activities related to the use of tumblers to reduce plastic waste in our opinion are very positive and useful, because through this activity children are expected to get used to carrying tumblers as a place for drinking water, besides that it also encourages behavioral habits (habits) to reduce the use of small plastic packaging that has the potential to be scattered and not sorted". School support through supervision to build an awareness of students is expected to continue, supporting facilities such as the provision of refillable drinking water in the school environment need to be launched so that awareness continues to run for each generation.
