CLC FH UNUD Organizes Discussion: Sexual Violence in Higher Education Environment

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Criminal Law Community (CLC) FHN UNUD Casual Discussion took place on Saturday (07/10/ 2023) at the UNUD Sudirman Campus. The 2023 CLC Casual Discussion focused on the issue of sexual violence. The Casual Discussion in this year's management period raised the theme "Recognize, Prevent, and Report: Efforts to Realize Higher Education as a Safe Space from Perpetrators of Sexual Violence."

This CLC Casual Discussion invited 2 (two) speakers, namely: Chairperson of the UNUD Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS) as well as Lecturer at the Criminal Law Lab / Section (I Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyaastuti, S.H. M.H.) and I Gusti Ngurah Nyoman Krisnadi Yudiantara, S.H., M.H. who is also a lecturer in the same section at FH UNUD. This discussion activity was opened by the Chairperson of the CLC (Ida Ayu Komang Reika Anggraini) packed through several sessions: material presentation, followed by discussion, and ended with games.

The purpose of the casual discussion is to invite the entire academic community to increase knowledge and understanding related to the issue of sexual violence that often circulates in society, especially in universities. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can increase our mutual awareness that issues related to sexual violence are still one of the crucial issues that must be prevented and handled immediately. Through this activity, it is also hoped that it can help increase understanding and awareness of the importance of ensuring that universities become safe spaces for all academicians in terms of eradicating perpetrators of sexual violence.
