Collaboration between Petulu Village Development MBKM Team and LBH Bali WCC Organizes Paralegal Training

Gianyar, FLUNUD.ac.id - MBKM Bina Desa Petulu collaborated with the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Bali Women Crisis Center (WCC) to organize Paralegal Training. This activity was held for 3 days, on May 24, 25, 26, 2024, which took place at Banjar Nagi Hall, Petulu Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency.

In the implementation of the Paralegal Training activities which were held for 3 days, there were also several invitations for paralegal training presenting Alexander Palti, S.H., M.H. (Kadiv of Legal and Human Rights Services of the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights) to open the event as well as give a speech, Dr. Made Gede Subha Karma Resen, S.H., M.Kn. (Koprodi S1 Ilmu Hukum FH Unud), Cokorda Agung Satiadarma (Perbekel Desa Petulu), Ni Nengah Budawati, S.H., M.H. (Director of LBH Bali WCC). 

The purpose of this activity is to increase public understanding of the law and provide skills in handling legal issues in a Non Litigation manner. This activity also aims to produce competent paralegals who come from the Petulu Village community and then form a Legal Aid Group to be able to provide non-litigation legal assistance to the Petulu Village community. This paralegal training was attended by dozens of participants of various ages, and most of them were Bendesa, Kelian Dinas and Kelian Adat from Petulu Village. During the 3-day activity, participants gained an in-depth understanding of the legal system in Indonesia and were also given several cases to discuss together.
