Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Congratulations to Rizki Hari Wibowo (ASN Ministry of Immigration and Corrections) who successfully earned a Doctor of Law degree in the Doctor of Law Studies Program (PSDIH) FH Unud at the Open Examination held Friday (11/15/2024) in the Hall of FH Unud Denpasar Campus.

Rizki Hari Wibowo's doctoral dissertation entitled “Reconstruction of Sanction Arrangements for Foreigners Exceeding the Stay Permit Time Limit in Indonesia” concluded that, the nature of the provision of legal sanctions for violations of over stay in Indonesia is a state tool to force rules in order to produce effective implementation of norms in the field of immigration, which is shown by the compliance of foreigners with the provisions of residence permits so as to realize order in the field of immigration in order to ensure the upholding of state sovereignty and have an impact on improving the welfare of the people in Indonesia.

The dissertation was successfully defended before the Chairman of the Session (Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, SH., M.Hum.), the Promoter Team (Prof. Dr. I Made Subawa, SH., MS., Prof. Dr. I Wayan Parsa, S.H., M.Hum., Dr. Made Gde Subha Karma Resen, SH., M.Kn.) and 4 other examining lecturers.
