Constitutional Moot Court Training 2024 by Udayana Moot Court Community

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Udayana Moot Court Community (UMCC) FH UNUD implements one of its work programs, namely: Constitutional Moot Court Training (CMCT) on Sunday (19/05/2024) at the Hall of FH UNUD Denpasar Campus. This work program is in the form of moot court training given to the participants in the form of a competition in the field of constitution with the aim of introducing, providing understanding, and helping participants to understand the practice of constitutional court proceedings, both in terms of formal and material. CMCT 2024 raised the theme "Constitutionality of Dualism of Absolute Competence of Judicial Institutions According to the Perspective of The Interpreter of Constitution" with the urgency that participants can learn and understand how the constitution works on the dualism of absolute competence of judicial institutions according to the Constitutional Court to uphold the Principle of Legal Certainty in adjudicating Indonesian Citizens (WNI).

The event was opened directly by the Dean of FH UNUD (Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumertayasa, S.H., M.Hum). One of the series of activities that have been carried out from the work program is the CMCT 2024 Seminar. The seminar was attended by the Honorable Judge of the Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. M. Guntur Hamzah, S.H., M.H. as the Keynote Speaker offline and the Honorable Constitutional Judge Dr. Daniel Yusmic Pancastaki Foekh, S.H., M.H. was also present as a Keynote Speaker via video display. In addition, there were also 2 (two) Lecturers of FH UNUD, Dr. I Dewa Gede Palguna, S.H., M.Hum. and Edward Thomas Lamury Hadjon, S.H., LL.M. as Speakers.
