Grand Opening of PPK ORMAWA LPM Kertha Aksara Collaboration with Faculty of Agriculture

Tabanan, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Student Press Institute (LPM) Kertha Aksara FH Unud succeeded in becoming one of the recipients of funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture in the Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa). PPK Ormawa is a program to strengthen the capacity of Ormawa through a series of Ormawa coaching processes by universities that are implemented in community service and empowerment programs.
LPM Kertha Aksara, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, held the grand opening of PPK Ormawa according to the title "Agroforestry: Grounding and Humanizing Forest Products Kula-Kula Plants to Realize Harmonious Economic Independence in Belatungan Village" on Friday (05/07/2024) at the Meeting Room of Belatungan Village, Pupuan Sub-District, Tabanan Regency.
The grand opening was attended by Belatungan Village officials, PPK Ormawa team, PPK Ormawa Supervisor (Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H.), and the ormawa team. Village officials who attended started from the Village Head, Village Secretary, Chairman of BPD, Chairman of LPM, Head of Region, Subak, and Farmers Group.
This event aims to inaugurate the Agroforestry program in Belatungan Village, Introduce the Agroforestry Program to Village Officials and Community Representatives (Farmer Groups), and gather support and participation from various parties, namely Village Officials and Community Representatives (Farmer Groups).
The series of events began with the opening by the MC, remarks by the Supervisor and Village Head, Mr. I Dewa Nyoman Widi Sucipta, who also opened the Grand Opening event. The event continued with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the implementation team and the Belatungan Village which was then continued with the introduction of the implementation team and the introduction of the program led by the Head of the Implementation Team, Annisyakira Egiana.
The event was closed with a discussion between the implementation team, village officials, and the Belatungan Village farmer group. The main discussion was related to the Kula-Kula plant whose sales had previously dropped so that if there is a downstream in the village, it can facilitate farmers in processing and selling it.
The hope is that with the Agroforestry program, it is hoped that it can increase the potential of natural resources (Kula-Kula plants) in Belatungan Village so as to maximize the economic independence of harmony in Belatungan Village.
