Initiating International Cooperation: Monash Law School Visits FH UNUD

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Monash Law School team, Australia, Prof. Jean Allain (Associate Dean-International) and Dr. Nadirsyah Hosen (Deputy Associate Dean-International) on Monday (12/06/2023) visited FH UNUD to initiate international cooperation. This team will visit several universities in Indonesia and it is an honor for FH UNUD as the first place to be visited. The visit was received directly by the Dean, Vice Dean I, Coordinator of the Master of Law Study Program, Chair of the Senate, Professor, Head of the International Law Lab / Section, Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, Lecturers of the International Law Lab / Section, State Administration and Events and student representatives of the Student Community For International Law (SCIL) FH UNUD in the Video Conference Room FH UNUD Denpasar Campus.

Monash University is one of the Top 100 Universities in the world and for its Law School is ranked 43rd. Monash Law School has the advantage of Clinical Legal Education and FH UNUD itself has several legal clinic courses (Procedure, Criminal, Civil, Environmental, Contract Drafting and Drafting of Laws and Regulations) which until now are still offered and are in great demand by students. 

For the future, international cooperation between Monash Law School and FH UNUD begins with 3 activities in the fields of education and research, namely: update conference, training in the field of law and international seminars. The closest implementation of cooperation will be held in 2024, namely: update conference involving international speakers. The collaboration with Monash Law School will add to the international orientation of FH UNUD which will certainly improve the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
