Gianyar, FLUNUD.ac.id – An “Intellectual Property Awareness Campaign” was held by the MBKM Bina Desa Batuan Kaler 2025 Team at the end of June 2025. The event took place at Wantilan Pura Puseh, Br Adat Cangi, Batuan Kaler Village. The socialization involved artists, village officials, and residents of Batuan Kaler Village.

The MBKM Bina Desa Batuan Kaler Team identified several works that had not yet received copyright protection. The aim of this intellectual property socialization was to provide understanding to the community, including artists and other residents, to enhance legal awareness, particularly regarding intellectual property. 

The event featured four speakers who are experts in their fields. These included lecturers from the Faculty of Law at Udayana University (Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, S.H, M.Hum, LLM, Putu Aras Samshitawrati, S.H, LLM), a representative from the Bali Regional Ministry of Law (Putu Edi), and a representative from BRIDA (I Nyoman Mudita, S.H, MAP) provided explanations regarding intellectual property, including its definition, legal basis, registration procedures, and other related matters.

Through this awareness-raising activity, it is hoped that the creative works in Batuan Kaler Village can obtain legal protection and assist the village in promoting its arts, which in turn can help the village enhance the economic aspects of its community.
