Introducing Moot Court, Mooters Day 2023 Gets Attention From New Students

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id –Took place in the Faculty of Law UNUD Hall, Saturday (04/02/2023), Udayana Moot Court Community (UMCC) has held a Mooters Day 2023 activity as a place to socialize UMCC and Moot Court more deeply. This activity succeeded in getting the attention of UNUD Faculty of Law students, especially new students.


Not only new students, previous batch students were also interested in participating in Mooters Day 2023. The number of Mooters Day 2023 participants who attended exceeded the target, reaching 170 participants. Of course it became very extraordinary and received more attention from various parties. This Mooters Day 2023 activity is one of the activities that must be followed if you want to join as a member of the UMCC. In addition, the thing that made this event special, Mooters Day featured various achievements and trophies that had been inscribed by UNUD Faculty of Law students in the field of moot justice and also invited participants to become the next generation.


"Showing the trophy at the Mooters Day 2023 event aims to give appreciation to the Mooters family who have succeeded in making Udayana University proud on the national stage," said the UMCC supervisor, A.A Ngurah Oka Yudistira Darmadi, SH., MH, in his opening remarks on Mooters Day on Saturday ( 04/02/2023).


Mooters Day 2023 with the theme "Level Up Your Knowledge About Mooters Day" means "Increase your knowledge about moot justice". The purpose of this activity is to introduce matters relating to moot courts including the organization of the UMCC. In addition, UMCC's 3 main work programs were introduced: Moot Court Training Series (RPPS), Internal Constitutional Moot Court Competition (ICMCC), and National Moot Court Competition (NMCC). Followed by a Sharing Session with Alumni guided by a moderator.


This activity was attended by all UMCC coaches, UMCC general chairmen, invitees, speakers, UMCC functionaries, committee, and all participants who had registered via the Google form. The Mooters Day activities ran smoothly which was officially opened by the Deputy Dean III, Dr. I Made Bachelor, SH., MH, and closed with the report of the vice chairman of the committee and handing over certificates to Speakers and Moderators, Games, Guest Performance, and Announcement of the Best Participants.
