The event featured a speaker, Dr. Diah Ratna Sari Hariyanto, S.H., M.H. (Lecturer at the Criminal Law Laboratory/Department of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University). The topic presented was Restorative Justice, which is the main concept in resolving cases at the Restorative Justice House. The event took place in two sessions: a presentation of the material and a question-and-answer session. Through this presentation, village officials from both administrative and traditional villages, as well as all participants in the socialization program, are expected to gain a deep understanding of the concept of Restorative Justice. This knowledge will enable them to serve as mediators in resolving cases at the Batuan Village Restorative Justice House through non-litigious means. This approach focuses not only on punishing or retaliating against the perpetrator but also on addressing the needs of the victim as part of the healing process.
