Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Thursday (16/05) a Doctoral Promotion was held at the Doctor of Law Study Program (PDIH) FH UNUD on behalf of Putu Herlina with a dissertation entitled Mixed Marriage Arrangements as an Instrument for Preventing Legal Smuggling in Business Development in Indonesia.

Doctoral promotion was held in the Hall Room of FH UNUD, chaired by Koprodi Doctor of Law Science (Prof. Dr. I Putu Sudarma Sumadi, S.H., S.U.), with the Promoter Team (Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, S.H., M.Hum; Prof. Dr. I Wayan Windia, S.H., M.Si.; and Prof. Dr. Desak Putu Dewi Kasih, S.H., M.Hum). The external examiners who attended: Prof. Dr. Adi Sulistiyono, S.H.M.H from the Faculty of Law, Sebelas Maret University and 3 other examining lecturers.

The doctoral dissertation of Putu Herlina who works as a notary discusses the characteristics of mixed marriages as a form of legal smuggling in business development by foreigners in Indonesia and identifies legal policy formulation and reformulation of mixed marriage regulatory norms to prevent mixed marriages as a form of legal smuggling.
