Saba Village Development MBKM Team Holds Sharing Session “Urgency of Recording Personal Creative Works”

Gianyar, FLUNUD.ac.id – Sunday (08/12/2024) the proud artists of Saba Village, I Ketut Cater and I Made Arsana officially received the Personal Copyright Inventory Certificate for their works, the certificate was handed over directly by the representative of BRIDA Gianyar Regency (I Nyoman Mudita, S.T). The handover which took place at the Balai Banjar Pinda also became a socialization or sharing session regarding the urgency of recording personal copyright by also inviting Professors in the Field of Intellectual Property and academics from FH Unud (Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, S.H, M.Hum., LLM and Putu Aras Samsithawrati, S.H, LLM) and Representatives of BRIDA Gianyar Regency.

In the handover and sharing session agenda carried out by the 2024 Saba Village Development MBKM Team, BRIDA explained that the main key in the inventory of works is the awareness of each artist of the importance of copyright certificates, not only protecting works from plagiarism but also becoming an economic potential for copyright holders. The works of the artists that were successfully registered were: Tabuh Manuk Anguci Jeladi Asuruh, ?Tabuh Kreasi Dharma Putra, Tabuh Kebyar Goak Macok, Tari Kreasi Puspita Sari, Tari Kreasi Nawa Ratna, ?Dari Kreasi Kekebyaran, ?Dari Kreasi Merdu Komala, Tari Kreasi Sunari, ?Tabuh Lelambatan Kembang Lawas, and ?Tabuh Lelambatan Kara Mas.

The implementation of this agenda is also expected to be able to motivate other artists to register their works for personal copyright so that the benefits of a work are not only for art lovers but also for its creator.
