Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id – Another outstanding achievement has been made by Udayana University law students. The Udayana University Student Creativity Program (PKM) team has successfully advanced to the 2025 National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS), the highest scientific competition for Indonesian students organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
The team, led by Firmansyah Krisna Maulana (FH 2022) along with members Ni Kadek Dinda Prameswari (FK 2023), I Kadek Sri Pradnyanni Iswari Dewi (FIB 2023), and Ni Putu Essa Pradevi (FH 2024) successfully passed the rigorous selection process and qualified for PIMNAS after undergoing a national assessment process. This team was directly supervised by Mr. Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H. (lecturer at FH Unud).
The scientific work, entitled “Sing Beling Sing Nganten: Breaking the Normalization of Premarital Sexuality in Bali Through Social and Cultural Construction in the Perspective of Feminist Legal Theory,” raises the issue of gender equality and protection of women amid the social and cultural construction of Bali, which is still laden with patriarchal values. This research seeks to highlight how moral and customary views that often stigmatize women can lead to injustice and discrimination against women's rights.
