UMCC Legal Talk: Arbitration as a Non-Litigation Dispute Resolution Effort in Realizing Peace

[Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Saturday (17/06/2023) Udayana Moot Court Community (UMCC) has organized UMCC Legal Talk Vol. 1: Arbitration Edition with the theme "Measuring the Concept of Dispute Resolution through Arbitration in Peace Efforts." This seminar focuses on introducing the resolution of legal issues using alternative dispute resolution methods that are processed outside the court or non-litigation. 

This seminar invited 2 speakers who are experts in their fields, namely Gede Widhiana Putra, S.H., M.H., as Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian National Arbitration Board-Bali Nusa Tenggara and also an Indonesian Arbitrator and Made Cinthya Puspita Shara, S.H., M.H., Lecturer at the Lab / Procedural Law Section of FH UNUD. Moderated by Putu Darmika Susilawati. The seminar was opened with remarks from the UMCC Advisor, A.A Ngurah Oka Yudistira Darmadi, S.H., M.H. and attended by FH UNUD students.

The first material presented by Made Cinthya Puspita Shara, S.H., M.H., entitled "Alternative Arbitration Dispute Resolution". The second material was presented by Gede Widhiana Putra, S.H., M.H., entitled "Wise Choices in Choosing Ways to Settle Business Disputes". 

After conducting a material presentation session, followed by a discussion presentation agenda, the participants were very enthusiastic in asking several questions to the speakers. The discussion session was followed by a group photo session by the speakers and giving certificates to the speakers as a token of gratitude from the committee.
