Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Doctor of Law Study Program of FH Unud held a Workshop on Competency Improvement in the Preparation of Scientific Work for Lecturers and Students on Monday (11/11/2024) at the Nusa Indah Room, Puri Nusa Indah Hotel, Denpasar. The event began with remarks from the Koprodi Doktor Ilmu Hukum and was opened directly by the Dean of FH Unud. This activity was attended by vice deans, lecturers and students of the Doctor of Law Study Program of FH Unud.

The workshop activities were divided into 2 sessions, where the first session presented 2 speakers: Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H, LLM (Professor of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Undiksha, Singaraja) and I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widitedja, S.H, M.Hum, LLM, Ph.D (UP3M Coordinator FH Unud). The second session also presented 2 speakers: Prof. Dr. Desak Putu Dewi Kasih, S.H, M.Hum (Head of TPPM of Doctor of Law Study Program FH Unud) and Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari, S.H, M.Kn (Vice Dean I FH Unud).

The purpose of the workshop is to increase scientific papers from lecturers and students published in accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The speakers provided strategies for choosing journals that are in accordance with scientific fields and avoiding predatory journals. In addition to journals, lecturers are also required to compile textbooks from each course they teach.
