Workshop on Textbook Preparation to Support Learning at FH UNUD

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - FH UNUD held a Workshop on the Preparation of Textbooks to support learning on Saturday (04/03/2023) at Grand Mirah Boutioque, Jl. Kaliasem No. 1, Denpasar. The activity was opened directly by the Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs, Planning and Cooperation and attended by the Deputy Dean II for General and Financial Affairs, the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Law Study Program (S1), professors and Heads of Labs / Sections along with their members. Each Law Lab / Section sends 1 Chairperson and 3 members.


Present speakers from the Department of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences vUniversitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed with the material "Developing Effective Textbooks." Textbooks are teaching materials in the form of textbooks for a course developed by experts in related fields that meet book writing standards and are officially published with the aim of achieving learning objectives or indicators of desired learning outcomes. According to Prof. Sukadi, "there are 3 foundations for the preparation of textbooks, namely: Pancasila, scientific and readability foundations; language rigor."


After the material session from Prof. Sukadi, the workshop continued with the practice of compiling textbooks. The eight Law Labs / Sections at FH UNUD agreed to uniform the cover, systematic substance of the textbook, the use of uptodate references and use some foreign languages and no less important to use the case method in the exercise section in the textbook. This is adjusted to the development of the Outcame-Based Education (OBE) curriculum. 


At the end of the session each Lab / Law Section managed to compile a draft / framework of 2 textbooks and presented them to get suggestions and input to improve them.
