Commemorating World Intellectual Property Day: MBKM Bina Desa FH UNUD Students Socialize the Establishment of Intellectual Property Aware Village in Paksebali Village

Paksebali-Klungkung, FLUNUD.ac.id - Students participating in the MBKM Bina Desa FH UNUD program held a socialization with the theme "Formation of Intellectual Property Aware Villages in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency on Wednesday (26/04/2023). This socialization is the first work program of MBKM Bina Desa program students as well as commemorating World Intellectual Property Day.

The socialization activity was attended by the Prebekel of Paksebali Village (I Putu Ariadi, S.T., S.H.), accompanying lecturers (Dr. Made Gde Subha Karma Resen, S.H., M.Kn), Head of Intellectual Property Sub Division of the Bali Kemenkumham Regional Office (Ida Bagus Made Danu Krisnawan, S.H., M.H.) who was also a speaker, village officials, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES), Chairman of the MBKM FH UNUD POKJA (Cokorda Dalem Dahana, S.H., M.Kn), tedung UMKM craftsmen, Paksebali Village art activists, Chairman of MBKM Bina Desa Paksebali 2023 (I Kadek Dwika Mahotama Putra) and MBKM participants.

The Prebekel of Paksebali Village welcomed the MBKM Bina Desa program for the next few months, as well as the people of Paksebali Village who mostly work asedung craftsmen who really need information about intellectual property related to the works and designs they produce. "Paksebali'sedung can be registered as a collective brand right that will provide legal protection for Paksebali'sedung and craftsmen and can boost the marketing and sales of Paksebali'sedung products," said the speaker from the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

It is the hope of the accompanying lecturers, students participating in MBKM Bina Desa Paksebali and the people of Paksebali Village that at the end of this program, Paksebaliedung products can be registered as collective brand rights.
