Communal Intellectual Property Registration Activity of Wayang Wong Dance by MBKM Students of Bina Desa Adat Sidan

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - There has been an activity of handing over the file of Communal Intellectual Property Registration of Wayang Wong Dance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Renon, on Wednesday (05/06/2024). The event, which was held in the context of implementing the MBKM Bina Desa Adat Sidan Communal Intellectual Property registration work program, was carried out by all Bina Desa participants in collaboration with Kemenkumham Independent Internship participants, and was well received by Made Yuda Yudistira, S.H., as the representative of the Kemenkumham Bali Regional Office.

The series of Communal Intellectual Property Registration activities include coordination and interviews with the Head of the Wayang Wong Dance Sekaa of Sidan Traditional Village. Followed by discussions and cooperation between Bina Desa Adat Sidan accompanied by Gusti Ayu Arya Prima Dewi, SH., MH. as the accompanying lecturer with Dr. I Nyoman Anom Fajaraditya Setiawan S.Sn., M.Sn as the owner of the documentary film and the Wayang Wong Dance journal. The coordination and registration process of Wayang Wong Dance also involved every element in the community, especially the approval and blessing of Bendesa Adat Sidan, Kelian Desa Dinas, Perbekel Desa Belok/Sidan. The involvement of local government agencies, namely the Badung Regency Culture Office and the Badung Regency Regional Research and Innovation Agency, participated in the smooth process of the Wayang Wong Dance Communal Intellectual Property Registration. With the hope that legal protection for the Wayang Wong Dance which is typical of the Sidan Traditional Village will soon be realized.
