Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Congratulations to Parlindungan (Regional Head of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of West Nusa Tenggara), a new Doctor of Law at the Doctor of Law Studies Program (PSDIH) FH Unud which was successfully achieved in the Open Examination held on Friday (11/10/2024) in the Hall of FH Unud Denpasar Campus.

The new doctor, Parlindungan raised the dissertation title “Politics of Immigration Law in Selective Policy Arrangements Against Foreign Tourists” with 3 problem formulations: (1) What is the nature of immigration selective policy in Indonesia?; (2) How is the implementation of immigration selective policy in Indonesia?; (3) How is the political reconstruction of immigration law that is appropriate for Indonesia to implement in facing global challenges and regulating selective policies towards foreign tourists?.

The dissertation was successfully defended in front of the Open Examination Leader, Coordinator of PSDIH FH Unud (Prof. Dr. Putu Sudarma Sumadi, SH., SU), Promoter Team (Prof. Dr. IB Wyasa Putra, SH., M.Hum; Prof. Dr. I Gede Yusa, SH., MH; Dr. I Nyoman Bagiastra, SH., MH.) and 4 other examining lecturers.
