Ethics and Advocacy Clinic Jamboree “Building National Cadres that Maintain the Honor of Judges and the Judiciary”

Bogor, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Ethics and Advocacy Clinic Jamboree was held with the theme “Building a Nation's Cadre that Maintains the Honor of Judges and the Judiciary”, for 4 days from November 18-21, 2024 at Pondok Kapilih Resort and Camp, Pancawati, Bogor Regency. The activity began with the reading of remarks from Untung Maha Gunadi, S.H., M.Si. (Chairperson of the Committee and Head of the Judges Capacity Building Advocacy Recruitment Bureau). Keynote speech and opening from Dr. Siti Nurdja ab, S.H., M.H. (Vice Chairman of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia). Also present were Dr. Arie Sudihar, S.H., M.Hum. (Secretary General of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia), experts, resource persons, facilitators, and judges. 

The Jamboree activity was attended by the Faculty of Law at 9 universities throughout Indonesia (Unud, Unsrat, Unad, Jantera, Unhas, Uinsa, Unsri, Unmul, and UII), The competitions held in this activity included trial video competitions, scientific papers, debates, case studies, and exhibitions of campaign tools created by PMKH. The results in this activity the delegation of FH Unud won 1st place in the Trial Video Competition, 2nd place in the Debate Competition, and 2nd place in the Writing Competition. The delegation also received a consolation prize as 1st place in the Best Art Performance category. The event was closed by Mr. Binziad Kadafi, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. (Head of Human Resources, Advocacy, Law, Research and Development).

This jamboree activity is a series of the implementation of the Ethics Clinic and Advocacy for the Prevention of Degrading Acts of Judges, which has been carried out since June 2024 on each campus of the cooperation partners of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia.... This Clinic and Jamboree activity is an excellent learning effort for students and also supports the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for Lecturers.
