FH UNUD Holds Cooperation with Directorate General of HPI, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Legal Sharing Session

Denpasar – The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Law, Udayana University and the Directorate General of Law and International Agreements (HPI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia was held on Thursday (12/3/2026) in the Vicon Room, Faculty of Law, Udayana University. This was followed by a Legal Sharing Session (LSS) on Economic Related Issues.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, Prof. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, and the Secretary of the Directorate General of HPI, Directorate General of Law and International Agreements (HPI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Widya Rachmanto. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, Prof. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, said that this cooperation agreement was very important for the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, in improving the Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) in terms of education, research, and community service. He also expressed his hope that this cooperation would run well and be beneficial to both parties. Also present at this event were the Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, Coordinator of the Bachelor of Law Study Program, Coordinator of the Doctoral Law Study Program, Coordinator of UPIKS, Head of the International Law Department, and Lecturers from the International Law Department.

Next, the Legal Sharing Session (LSS) on Economic Related Issues was presented by young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, namely Fawzan Irchamsyah, who presented the material “Legal Aspects in the Placement and Protection of Migrant Workers Agreement,” followed by the second speaker, Herdeka Janardana, who discussed “Critical Minerals Cooperation from an International Agreement Perspective,” and the third speaker, Muhammad Awfa, who discussed “The Proliferation of Non-Trade Issues in Trade Agreements.” This Legal Sharing Session was moderated by several International Law Lecturers, including Dr. I Made Budi Arsika, Dr. Tjok Istri Diah Widyantari Pradnya Dewi, and I Made Mahartayasa.

The Legal Sharing Session, which ran until 4:00 PM local time, was attended by students from the Faculty of Law, University of Udayana, including those from the IUP, SCIL, and ALSA programs, as well as Master of Law students.
