FH UNUD National Seminar "Women and Children in the Passage of Time"

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Monday (18/09/2023) in commemoration of the 61st Dies Natalies of UNUD and the 59th Faculty of Law of Udayana University, FH UNUD held a National Seminar with the theme "Women and Children in the Trajectory of Time" which presented the Keynote Speaker of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, S.E, M.Si. This seminar also presented 3 speakers, namely: Dr. Kunthi Tridewiyanti, S.H., M.A. (Academician of Pancasila University), Dr. Luh Riniti Rahayu, M.Si (Director of Bali Sruti Foundation), and Ni Luh Gede Yastini, S.H. (Chairperson of the Bali Regional Commission for Child Implementation and Protection) moderated by Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari, S.H., M.Kn.
This National Seminar was held hybridly in the Postgraduate Hall of the Sudirman Campus of UNUD and online through the Webex application and broadcast live through Udayana TV. The Postgraduate Hall room was filled with participants who came from representatives of all Faculties within UNUD, all Faculties of Law in Bali, government agencies and legal aid institutions that observe women and children in the Bali region.
The National Seminar was opened by the Rector of Udayana University, who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Dean I for Academic and Planning Affairs of FH UNUD (Prof. Dr. Desak Putu Dewi Kasih, S.H., M.Hum). The Chairman of the Committee (Cokorda Dalem Dahana, S.H., M.Kn.) said that "this national seminar was held to look at the existence and essence of Indonesian women and children in the trajectory of time, because it cannot be denied that until now there is still marginalization and violence against women and children." This activity aims to capture the achievements that have been realized and address the current and future conditions of women and children.
