Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Friday (06/10/2023) a new Doctor of Law Promotion was held at the Doctoral Program (S3) of Law Science FH UNUD on behalf of I Gusti Ngurah Ardita with the dissertation title "Legal Harmonization in the Arrangement of Airport Development and Business." 

I Gusti Ngurah Ardita is the General Manager of Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) raised 2 problem formulations in his dissertation: (1) Why is the development and operation of airports in Indonesia not in accordance with the planning of airport development and operation as stipulated in Law No. 1 of 2009 and Government Regulation No. 40 of 2021?; (2) What is the form of legal harmonization in the regulation of airport development and operation in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that there is legal disharmony between the Law and Government Regulation governing the development and operation of airports in Indonesia so that harmonization needs to be done in several ways, namely: affirming the regulation on the obligation to prepare a valid feasibility study by the airport development proponent and affirming the provision of airport accessibility and utility infrastructure as the Government's obligation.
