Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Congratulations and success to I Made Budi Arsika, Lecturer of Lab / Section of International Law FH Unud who successfully defended his dissertation at Doctoral Promotion Monday (17/03/2025) in the Hall of FH Unud Denpasar Campus. The dissertation title “Transformation of the Concept of Indonesian Cultural Rights in the ASEAN Identity Legal Framework” was well defended at the Doctoral Promotion led by the Dean of FH Unud (Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, SH., M.Hum), in front of the Promoter Team (Prof. Dr. IB Wyasa Putra, SH., M.Hum; Prof. Dr. I Gede Yusa, SH., MH.; and Dr. Sagung Putri ME Purwani, SH., MH.) and 4 other Examiners. The findings of I Made Budi Arsika's Doctoral dissertation that the form of transformation of the concept of Indonesian cultural rights into the legal framework of ASEAN identity is the incorporation of mainstreaming cultural rights in the modification of the Narrative of ASEAN Identity, giving a new interpretation of the ASEAN Human Rights Declaration, and formulating the ASEAN Declaration on Cultural Identity which reflects appetitus societatis and consensus gentium.
