MBKM Bina Desa Jatiluwih Team: Communal Intellectual Property Recording Inventory Activity- Traditional Knowledge "Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih"

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - On Monday (24/06/2024) the final file handover of the Communal Intellectual Property (KIK) - Traditional Knowledge "Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih" was carried out by MBKM Bina Desa Jatiluwih students. This activity is the implementation of the field assistance work program in the form of recording KIK from the MBMKM Bina Desa Jatiluwih team. KIK recording took place at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of Bali Province. The submission of the final file was accompanied directly by the Field Assistance Lecturer of Bina Desa Jatiluwih in 2024 (I Gusti Ngurah Nyoman Krisnadi Yudiantara, SH., MH.) and was welcomed by Putu Edi Wahyudi as the General Functional Analysis of Intellectual Property Applications in the Sub Division of Intellectual Property Services, Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Bali Province. 

The series of Communal Intellectual Property Recording activities began with coordination and interviews with the Jatiluwih Village Perbekel, Jatiluwih Customary Bendesa, Gunung Sari Customary Bendesa, Jatiluwih Village Penglingsir, Jatiluwih Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Makers and Traders, Village Apparatus and Jatiluwih Village Community. Followed by socialization activities and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which was also attended by Prof.Dr.Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, SH., M.Hum., LLM, Putu Aras Samshitawrati, S.H., LLM, and Dr.Made Aditya Pramana Putra, S.H., M.H. This activity aims to verify and validate the filling of the KIK-PT Recording form "Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih". Furthermore, the last agenda was continued by taking documentation both photos and documentary videos to support the requirements of the Communal Intellectual Property-Traditional Knowledge Recording process "Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih."

The involvement of relevant local government agencies, namely the Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) of Tabanan Regency also participated and fully supported the smooth process of recording KIK - Traditional Knowledge "Laklak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih". This recording aims to provide legal protection for KIK, especially those belonging to the Jatiluwih Village community. With the hope that the production and marketing of "LakLak Baas Barak Cenana Jatiluwih" can increase so as to advance the welfare of the local community.
