MBKM Research Team Socialization at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas on RRI Pro 1 Denpasar

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id – On Friday (September 19, 2025), the 2025 MBKM Research Team from FH Unud at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas conducted a socialization at RRI PRO 1. The team consisted of supervising lecturers (Dr. Sagung Putri M.E. Purwani, SH., MH.), and students (I Putu Gede Putra Sentana, Firmasnyah Krisna Maulana, I Gede Andika Krisnananda Mudita Putra) presented the results of their MBKM research entitled “The Implications of Criminalization on Public Policy in an Administrative Government Regulation.”

The presentation focused on administrative violations handled through criminal mechanisms. The MBKM Research Team highlighted the overlap between criminal law and administrative law in addressing administrative violations by public officials, particularly in the areas of discretionary policy-making, procurement of goods and services, and the state-owned enterprise (SOE) sector. The team also emphasized the importance of prioritizing administrative mechanisms as the primary remedy and criminal penalties as the last resort.
