Organizing the 2nd Period of Ethics and Advocacy Clinic in Cooperation with the Indonesian Judicial Commission

Badung, FLUNUD.ac.id - The first meeting of the mentors with students participating in the Ethics and Advocacy Clinic in collaboration with the Judicial Commission (KY) RI for the second period was held on Thursday (20/06/2024) at HG1 Building, FH UNUD Bukit Jimbaran Campus which was guided by Dr. Ni Nengah Adiyaryani, SH, MH (Chairperson of the Ethics and Advocacy Clinic), I Wayan Bela Siki Layang, SH, MH, Dr. Ir. AA Ngurah Oka Yudistira Darmadi, SH, MH, Dr. I Dewa Gede Dana Sugama, SH, MH, Devy Marlita Martana, SH, MH and I Putu Rasmadi Arsha Putra, SH, MH. This meeting provided an understanding to students participating in the Ethics and Advocacy Clinic about the activities to be carried out, namely: the stages of Study, community service and Campaign. The three stages provide additional insight to the students participating in the Clinic about preventing acts that degrade the nobility, honor and dignity of Judges (PMKH) in the Indonesian judiciary.
This clinic is guided by lecturers of the Lab / Procedural Law Section of FH UNUD as mentors who will also invite KY Bali liaisons and practitioners for community service at the Gianyar District Court and Bangli District Court. The study phase starts from June 24, 2024 to July 1, 2024. Students will also be invited to conduct a campaign to educate the public about the importance of preventing FMDH by bringing brochures, pamphlets, binners. The Ethics and Advocacy Clinic activities in 2024 have specificity compared to the previous period, adding moot court activities related to the prevention of FMDH. Students will be invited to play a role (moot court) where the moot court illustrates the nuances of actions that degrade the nobility, honor and dignity of judges.
