Outstanding Achievement of the SCIL Unud Delegation at the 20th International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition 2025

Yogyakarta, FLUNUD.ac.id – The SCIL FH Unud delegation once again brought honor to FH Unud through its impressive achievements in The 20th International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition (IHL MCC) 2025. The FH Unud delegation demonstrated outstanding performance and won a number of awards at the competition organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), including Second Place, Best Role-Playing Team, and two individual awards for Audrey Davita Ariella's brilliant performance as First Best Oral Speaker and Best Role-Playing Speaker.
This year's delegation team consisted of 5 FH Unud students, namely Audrey Davita Ariella (Class of 2023), Syalsyabilla Rizki Adinda (Class of 2022), Putu Ayunindhya Maheswari Swarananda (Class of 2024), Gabriella Nathaniel Chandra (Class of 2024), and Lanina Yatraning Puspita (Class of 2023). They were coached by I Komnang Dananjaya, an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, Class of 2019.
This year's competition featured a fictional case titled “Situation in Manustan: Prosecutor v. Zara Smith,” which focused on the resolution of alleged war crimes of murder and torture in the context of non-international armed conflict at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The FH Unud delegation's journey began with the preliminary round on November 1-2, 2025, where the team made it into the top eight and advanced to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals held on November 22-23, 2025, at the Islamic University of Indonesia, Yogyakarta.
