SCIL participates in the National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2026
Yogyakarta, FLUNUD.ac.id β The SCIL Udayana delegation team, chaired by Ni Made Putrini (2023) and consisting of Rendy Yanfery Situmorang (2022), Anak Agung Gede Bagus Genta Budhi Dharma (2023), Rainer Mischa Toulamanna (2023), Agung Pasha Kusuma (2024), and Jan Christoper Wismar Saragih (2024), participated in the National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2026 with their coach, Laetitia Arista (2022), held on February 5β8, 2026, at the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.
This competition is the most prestigious and internationally recognized mock trial competition in international law, addressing various issues in international law. This year's case was titled βThe Case Concerning The Gordian Gorge,β which raised issues of public international law related to state jurisdiction, international responsibility, and the dynamics of inter-state interests in the settlement of disputes in strategic areas. This topic required in-depth analysis from both the perspective of treaty law and international custom, posing a unique challenge for each delegation.
