Badung, Faculty of Law, Udayana University held a Social Service Activity with the theme From Sovereignty to Sustainability: Bridging International Maritime Law and Local Wisdom for Coastal Communities in Bali at Pantai Jerman, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, on Friday (6/2/2026).
This community service activity is an actualization of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), as a form of campus concern for issues faced by the community, especially coastal communities. The activity, initiated by the Doctoral Program in Law at Unud, was attended by doctoral students in law at FH Unud, lecturers, and the community around Pantai Jerman.
This community service was held with the aim of increasing understanding and awareness among coastal communities in Bali, especially those in Pantai Jerman, regarding the existence of International Maritime Law and preserving the local wisdom that already exists and develops in the lives of coastal communities.
The event was attended by the Vice Dean I and Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Law, Unud, the Doctoral Program Coordinator, the Undergraduate Program Coordinator, Unit Coordinators, and lecturers from the Faculty of Law, Unud, as well as the Head of German Beach Management, Kuta.
