Sukawati, FLUNUD.ac.id – The socialization event themed “Smart Shopping in the Online Era” was held on Monday (08122025) in the hall of Hindu 2 Sukawati State Junior High School and was very well received by the students. The event was attended by 7th grade students.

The purpose of holding street law is one of the outcomes of the Civil Law Clinic course, which prioritizes experiential components. Street law with the theme of consumer protection provides a broader understanding of civil law, particularly related to consumer protection, so that students can become smart, critical, and vigilant consumers when conducting online transactions. Junior high school students were chosen as participants for this outreach because online shopping is now a big part of their lives, from buying school supplies to entertainment needs, so it's important for students to understand their rights and responsibilities as consumers.

This activity was carried out by a team of students from the Civil Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, and was supervised by a team of lecturers, namely Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, SH., M.Hum., LLM., and Putu Aras Samsithawrati, SH., LLM. Through this activity, it is hoped that students at SMP Negeri Hindu 2 Sukawati can become a generation that is more prudent in online shopping, understands their rights as consumers, and is able to avoid potential losses in the digital world.
