After the remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Law Unud, the event continued with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement of the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Order of Commerce (PKTN) of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Veri Anggrijono: Director General of Consumer Protection and Orderly Commerce) with the Faculty of Law, Udayana University (Putu Gede Arya Sumerta). After the signing of the Cooperation Agreement, a joint photo was taken, followed by a key note speech and a public lecture from Mr. Veri Anggrijono as Director General of Consumer Protection and Order of Commerce, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, conveying the Consumer Protection Policy with the presentation of the Legal Basis of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Protection Consumers with the aim of consumer protection in Indonesia: the establishment of empowered consumers, the realization of responsible business actors, increasing quality of goods and services circulating in the Indonesian market, increasing the dignity of consumers by preventing them from negative access to the use of goods and/or services, The Ministry of Trade is mandated to coordinate the implementation of guidance and supervision of consumer protection in Indonesia. And closed with tips on smart consumers from the Director General of Consumer Protection and Orderly Commerce of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.
