Singapore Law Firm Lawyer Teaches Legal English and Contract Law Classes

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id – On Wednesday (14/10/2026), the Undergraduate Law Study Program at the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, invited a lawyer from Nishimura & Asahi (Singapore) LLP, Made Grazia Valyana Ustriyana, S.H., LL.M., as a guest lecturer for the Legal English and Contract Law classes. The lectures for both courses were conducted online via Zoom. On this occasion, she highlighted the importance of understanding Legal English and presented material on Multinational Corporations and Human Rights Abuses. In the Contract Law session, various key aspects of innominate and nominate contracts under the Indonesian Civil Code were emphasized.

Throughout the Legal English and Contract Law sessions, the guest lecturer was accompanied online by the respective course lecturers. The lectures were warmly received by the students, who participated actively throughout the guest lecture sessions. This initiative serves as a valuable opportunity for collaboration under the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, as having a lawyer from a Singapore law firm serve as a guest lecturer contributes to the internationalization metrics of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University.
