UNUD Faculty of Law Academics Become Resource Persons for the RI Law and Human Rights Research and Development Workshop “Assistance for Writing Scientific Papers in English”
Jakarta, October 27, 2022-Research and Development Agency for Law and Human Rights (Balitbangkumham) Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia held a Workshop on Writing Assistance in Writing Essays Scientific English-speaking offline from 26-27 October 2022. The workshop was opened directly by Iwan Kurniawan, Bc.IP., SH, M.Si as Plt. Head of the RI Balitbangkumham and presenting 3 resource persons, one of whom was an academician from the Faculty of Law Unud, I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widiatedja, SH, M.Hum., LLM., Ph.D (Chairman of the Journal Management Team of FH UNUD) with material on Strategy for Writing and Publication of Scientific Articles : Internationalization of Indonesian Local Values. While the other 2 resource persons: Dr. Lilis Mulyani, SH, M.PIL with material on Writing Frameworks and Developing Readability Aspects of English Articles and Al Khanif, SH, MIL., Ph.D. with the subject of Study Methods in the Field of Human Rights. The purpose of the activity is to get a special article on the theme of Study Methods in the Human Rights Sector which will be published in the English Special Edition of the Human Rights Journal in December 2022. The number of participants attending this workshop from several provinces, namely: East Java 4 people, Sumatera Barang 3 people, North Sumatra 3 people, DKI Jakarta 2 people and Southeast Sulawesi 1 person. The 13 people successfully passed the selection of 164 people who submitted abstracts. This activity has a difference because there is assistance to writers who have passed the selection until the process of publishing the Special Edition of the Human Rights Journal and it is hoped that these articles can improve the quality of the Human Rights Journal towards SINTA-1 and have an international reputation.
