UP2M FH UNUD Held "Conference On SocioLegal And Humanities Research"

Friday, August 26 2022, "Conference on Socio-Legal and Humanities Research" took place at the Ballroom of Wantilan Prama Hotel, Sanur organized by the Research and Service Unit (UP2M) FH Unud offline. The conference presented 2 Invited Speakers: Gautam Kumar Jha, M.Phil., Ph.D. (Lecturer at Jawaharla Nehru University, India) and Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti, SH, M. Hum., LLM. (FH UNUD Lecturer and Intellectual Property Law Expert) with the moderator I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widiatedja in the first session. The first speaker presented the history, legal and social issues that developed in India, while the second speaker conveyed the importance of socio-legal legal research methods to produce comprehensive research, both in terms of legal instruments and real conditions in the field. The purpose of this activity is to reintroduce the basic concepts of socio-legal research and identify emerging issues in new law, social sciences and humanities. In addition, the second session provides a forum for researchers to disseminate their research progress and results in parallel. There were 24 researchers consisting of students of S1 Legal Studies, Masters in MIH, Masters in MKN, Doctoral Degrees in Law and Faculty of Law Unud lecturers presenting their research.
