FIELD STUDY VISIT AND SIGNING OF A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE FACULTY OF LAW, UNIVERSITY OF SURAKARTA

Rector of Udayana University: Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D.; Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information: Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta, S.T., M.T., IPM and Dean of the Udayana Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, S.H., M.Hum. received a visit from the Rector of Surakarta University Dr. Arya Surendra, S.Sos., S.E., M.M. along with his team and a group of students on Thursday (June 4) at the Kerthasabha Convention Hall of the Udayana University Faculty of Law. 

This field study visit by the Faculty of Law at Surakarta University to the Faculty of Law at Udayana University was conducted as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Surakarta University and Udayana University. The event began with opening remarks by the Rector of Udayana University, followed by a welcome address from the Rector of Surakarta University. This was followed by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement and Implementation Arrangement by the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Udayana University and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law at Surakarta University regarding the Implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education and Key Performance Indicators for Higher Education Institutions. The implementation of the cooperation continued in the form of a field study program (KKL) featuring a public lecture on the theme “The Dialectics of Customary Law in the Codification of National Criminal Law: Opportunities and Challenges in Implementing Living Law in the New Criminal Code, featuring speakers from the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Gde Made Swardhana, SH., MH, and Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari, SH., M.Kn, moderated by Dr. Diah Ratna Sari Hariyanto, SH., MH. It is hoped that this collaboration will support the performance indicators of each faculty.
